UMP application fee

The University of Mpumalanga, UMP, operates a compulsory application fee policy. As a result, every application forwarded to the institution must be accompanied by an application fee, which is non-refundable. How much is UMP application fee

As stated before now, the University of Mpumalanga’s application fee charge is not fixed at a static rate for all students. The payable rate is determined by the student’s citizenship status and country of origin. South African students pay an application fee charge of 150 South African Rand. Students from SADC (Southern African Development Commission) member countries pay 350 South African Rand. Every other foreign student is charged an application fee rate of 500 South African Rand.

Does UMP accept late applications?

The University of Mpumalanga advises that candidates commence their admission applications early and complete them within the timeframe of a particular application cycle. Admission application cycles for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes typically terminate at the end of July and October, respectively. However, for the current application cycle, the deadlines fall between September 2023 and January 2024. All applications are routed through the University of Mpumalanga’s online application portal. Nevertheless, the university may also accept applications made outside of the timeline of an application cycle in the event that vacant spaces still exist for any programme available at the institution.

Students interested in applying to study at the University of Mpumalanga need the following things to be able to commence and complete applications:

The University of Mpumalanga’s status application ienabler is accessible at ienabler.ump.ac.za.  The portal is accessible to registered prospective students, students, university personnel and alumni. This platform allows one to apply, register, update personal information, retrieve relevant information and conduct payments as stipulated by the university. Accessing this platform requires having a student number and pin.
